Cote d`Azur Water Sports Holidays
Description  This dazzling stretch of star-studded coastline has long been a place of escape, attracting a rich assortment of artists, actors, writers and royalty to its shores. From Queen Victoria to Picasso and Brigitte Bardot, the Cote d'Azur has seduced people from all walks of life. Cruise the magnificent coastline and admire the stylish ports and shores that entice so many people back, time and time again.

The Cote d`Azur; on the French Mediterranean coastline, is a varied and spectacularly beautiful cruising area, which includes such well known names as St Tropez, Nice, Antibes and Cannes, as well as a lesser known IIe d'Hyeres, St Jean Cap Ferrat and Porquerolles.

Wind and Sailing Conditions  The French Mediterranean offers excellent sailing conditions with a large variety of marinas and protected bays. The area is subject to variable trade winds, generally blowing at force 2 - 3, occasionally stronger.

Dining Ashore  The food and wine in the South of France are as much of an attraction as the sailing. A few of the specialities you might be tempted to try are the bouillabaise, a rich aromatic stew of fresh rock fish, scorpion fish, mullet or bream cooked with olive oil and freash herbs.
