Description With friendly people, fascinating culture, spectacular scenery and fabulous food, it’s no wonder this continues to be one of our top holiday destinations. Choose from our range of 32ft to 44ft yachts and catamarans.
The cruising ground in the Andaman Sea of the southwest Thailand, stretches from Phuket in the north and encompasses picturesque Phang Nga Bay, and a myriad of islands and anchorages as far south as Tarutao, just north of the Malaysian border.
Wind and Sailing Conditions There are two seasons in the south of Thailand. During the November to April season, the weather is consistently sunny and dry with calm seas, through winds are nevertheless ideal for sailing. In the May to October season rain is more likely and the winds pick up, though sailing is still sheltered in most of the cruising area.
Dining Ashore With a reputation for extreme temperatues and spicy ingredients, Thai food is unbeatable if you're looking for something hot! Likewise, there are delicious dishes for more mild tastes, just remember the words 'Mai Pet' (meaning no spice) or 'Pet Nit Noi', (a little spice).
