Description Situated between Biarritz and Bordeaux, Messages is blessed with and enormous golden sandy beach, pine forest and impressive surf.
The charming village is about 5 minute cycle ride from the camp site and other villages you can visit include Le Vieux Boucau, with its many shops, bars and restaurants, and Hossegor - the world famous surfing mecca. Locally there are hundreds of kilometers of cycle paths weaving their way through the pine forests. Why not stop off at some of the artisan stores run by local producers and buy delicacies such as Armagnac or Floc de Gascogne?
There is a selection of lively beach front bars in Le Vieux Boucau, a short walk up the beach. The Mojito Bar often has live music, Calicoba attracts the hipper crowd and la Vague offers wonderful cocktails and fruit smoothies which can be enjoyed lying back in one of its many hammocks.
